- IDEINFO v 1.00 by Julian Moss
- =============================
-
- IDEINFO is a DOS-based utility to display information about
- IDE / ATA storage devices. It will tell you the number of
- cylinders, heads, sectors per track and total size of a hard
- drive. This information is useful if you have an old computer
- that needs to know this information and which has lost it
- because the CMOS battery has died. Therefore it is a good idea
- to keep a copy of the program on a bootable floppy. (If the
- program is on your hard disk, and you can't access the hard
- disk, it won't be much help to you.)
-
- Installation
- ------------
-
- Extract the contents of the Zip archive to a suitable folder.
-
- Usage

-
- IMPORTANT: DO NOT RUN FROM AN MS-DOS PROMPT IN WINDOWS.
- EXIT WINDOWS TO MS-DOS MODE, OR BOOT FROM A FLOPPY DISK THAT
- CONTAINS A COPY OF THE PROGRAM.
-

-

-
- To list the full range of options:
