  4. IDEINFO is a DOS-based utility to display information about
  5. IDE / ATA storage devices. It will tell you the number of
  6. cylinders, heads, sectors per track and total size of a hard
  7. drive. This information is useful if you have an old computer
  8. that needs to know this information and which has lost it
  9. because the CMOS battery has died. Therefore it is a good idea
  10. to keep a copy of the program on a bootable floppy. (If the
  11. program is on your hard disk, and you can't access the hard
  12. disk, it won't be much help to you.)

  17. Extract the contents of the Zip archive to a suitable folder.

  22. IMPORTANT: DO NOT RUN FROM AN MS-DOS PROMPT IN WINDOWS.
  23. EXIT WINDOWS TO MS-DOS MODE, OR BOOT FROM A FLOPPY DISK THAT
  24. CONTAINS A COPY OF THE PROGRAM.

  52. listing information about the drive.
